Carmenere - disappeared from its place of origin in Médoc, north of Bordeaux, France following the phylloxera outbreak in the 19th century. It reappeared in Chile at the end of the 20th Century.

COLOR : Deep and Intense Purple Red
SOIL : Riverbench and benchland associated soils
AGING : Aged in american oak barrels
AROMA : Expressive fruit with outstanding mature berries, forest fruit joined with delicate hints of coffee and toast coming from the barrels
PALATE : From the start, its a remarkable expression of Carmenere thanks to the typical fruits like plums, blackberries and some spicy touches. The tannins are polished and long with a medium body at the end
FOOD PAIRING : It expresses marvelously well with game meat, garnished with sweet and sour sauces and berries
